When do I need to keep my paper receipt?

Receipt that is:

  1. automatically in the app is an original and you do NOT need to save any paper version of that receipt.
    ​

  2. added to the app by you as a digital receipt that you have received digitally (eg. pdf) from the merchant via eg. email is an original and you do NOT need to save any paper version of that receipt.
    ​

  3. added to the app by you taking a photo of a paper receipt is not an original and needs to be archived in some countries. Ask your company's finance department if you are unsure about the rules in your country.

    (Sweden) When you have a photo of the receipt you need to store the photo version for seven (7) years and the paper version for up to five (5) years.
